Food was incredible! Highly recommend the veggie panini or the turkey ham panini, both were fire. The gumbo Greens soup healed my soul!

Chef Sara’s feels like my grandma’s house. You’re received with a warm welcome and fresh food. The coffee is always strong and the food is consistently delicious. Plus, it feels like everyone that works and eats here already knows each other and once you step in, they just take you right in with the most delicious waffles and pancakes you’ll ever have. You can tell chef Sara’s throws love into every recipe, and you deserve some of that lovin’.

every time I come in I am greeted with a warm welcome I love the food especially the salmon burger the service makes you feel like home like you're part of a family and it draws everyone from all walks of life you want to come here if you ever meet Chef Sara You feel like she's a member of the family you know like an aunt or someone very special whenever I have a craving for the salmon burger or the turkey burger veggie burger, lox and bagels I don't care how far away I am I will go through oceans and deserts just to get some of this delicious food chef Sara's cafe is a cornerstone in the community delivering world class service amazing food with a side order of smile If you have not been here to check out this amazing Cafe don't miss out any longer after reading this review and you looking to stop somewhere for lunch and you're in the South shore community be sure to check out chef Sara's cafe located at 7202 South Exchange Avenue

Such a homey, welcoming crowd here. Everyone having a good time, staff included. The food was excellent - the gumbo greens soup was delicious, the paninis are fantastic. Staff was super accommodating of lactose intolerance and left the cheese on the side so we could share with each other. I loved the veggie panini, the flavor of the veggies was so good and perfect with the soup. The turkey ham panini was incredible - the pear was sliced at the perfect thickness and the swiss cheese was the cherry on top. This cafe is great choice for seniors, as the soup was not overly salty - Chef Sara offered me some pepper flakes to kick up the heat and the pink salt on the table really brought out the flavors she had developed in the soup. 10/10, thank you Chef Sara for creating such a welcoming, calm, safe space where the neighborhood can come to enjoy great food and great company!

Y'all it was so beautifully BLACK!!!! AND INTIMATE! I really liked this cafe everyone was nice and the food was so good felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen as she was making me breakfast
